Bullitt Center

Location: Seattle, Washington

Overview

The Bullitt Center was designed by architecture firm, Miller Hull, and is located at 1501 East Madison Street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Seattle. This unique project is a 52,000 SF building with six floors that was designed to meet the Living Building Challenge. It is one of the greenest buildings in the world, and was the first office building to earn the Living Building certification from the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) in 2015.

The building is constructed mainly of wood, and all of the building's FSC certified lumber was supplied by Matheus Lumber.

More information on the building and its goals can be found on http://bullittcenter.org/
