Overview

The Overlake School’s Technology and Language Center was built in 2010.  Matheus Lumber delivered the certified lumber for this school construction project which rests on 75 acres in Redmond, WA.

The 14,000 square foot building replaced the old hay barn. It received LEED certification for its green building design which includes photovoltaic roof top panels to generate electricity and a green roof on the connecting bridge at the center.

The school has 530 students from grades 5 through 12, where the average class size is only 14, and the student to teacher ratio is 7:1.
